Make a healthy bread bakery out of this non-toxic Dutch oven

Baking bread at home has many benefits over buying it from the store. It tastes better, is fresh and more nutritious, and is free from preservatives. You may choose your own ingredients, try different recipes, and enjoy the aroma that fills your kitchen.

Baking bread in a healthy Dutch oven has some additional benefits. This article talks about which Dutch oven to get and how it makes bread baking healthier.

Why an MEC pot is the best Dutch oven for baking bread

In contrast to a metal Dutch oven, using a pure clay Dutch oven is better. And specifically, MEC’s clay pot make the perfect Dutch oven for healthy bread baking. It is 100% non-toxic, cooks nutritiously with far infrared heat and makes baking easier because of its ergonomic design.

The many benefits of baking bread in MEC

MEC’s pot does not need soaking prior to baking and cooking time is the same or less than in other clay pots – all thanks to food-friendly far infrared heat (learn more about it here).

All types of bread turn out great in MEC cookware. Typically, MEC pans are used for this purpose but the pots also make great bread bakers. Customers have noted that bread turns out softer on the inside and with a crunchy crust on the outside. The grains stay moist and the taste and flavors are more intense.

You may try different kinds of bread baking recipes with MEC. Most popular choices among customers are sourdough bread, no knead 5-minute artisanal bread and the conventional yeast bread.

How to bake bread in MEC– with ease and convenience

Baking bread in MEC’s non-toxic pot is not only healthier, but also convenient!

Here is how to make bread in your MEC cookware:

Use a fully seasoned (used 4-5 times back-to-back for water-based recipes like beans, lentils, soups etc.) pan or pot. Oil the bottom of the pot on the inside, and then flour it. Then add your well-kneaded dough (made with 1 to ½ cups of flour for the MEC small pot or pan, and 2 to 2 1/2 cups for medium, and 3 cups for a larger MEC pot or pan) that is ready to bake, to the pan or pot. Cover and bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees F.

Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick or fork. If it comes out clean, it is done. When done or almost done, turn oven off and partially keep the lid open for bread to brown, which takes about 5 minutes.

I love to live like a free spirit and do whatever I feel like doing at any moment. I have tried to work in multiple fields but none of them was interesting enough to keep me tied-up for too long. I am a typical Freelancer. I know I am destined to achieve greatness but when and how, I don't know yet.
